Flatbacker 110, long casting swimming lure by Megabass

The Megabass Flatbacker 110 is a swimming plug with the LBO weight transfer system, probably among the best in the market.

Without a doubt we can say that the internal movable weight not only empowers  the cast but it is also very audible once we release the load of the rod. A deep "clack" joins every cast and once you see the Flatbacker 110 flying so far, you know that everything worked flawlessly.

So we have another rocket in the family and the sea bass are each day more insecure. Yet, if it would only fly and swim like a piece of wood not much success could be expected. No worries, the Flatbacked 110 swings as we like the most. Is very agile, and delivers a powerful wobbling & rolling even at the slowest retrieve speed, when many other lures fail.

It works hard on a linear retrieve doing its best to be noticed by predators. Said that we believe that a sudden jerk every once in a while or a creative pause, will add a bit more of fun to our fishing and maybe catch a fish that doesn't like a lure swimming on a rail.

Its "face" remind us a bit the classic Zonk, yet, inside its ABS body lives a revolution, an improvement that puts this lure in line, or we should say a step ahead, with the modern lures.

We like this Flatbacker 110 a lot, we will give it a chance with the sea bass but also with other predators. We often fond very wary fish far from the coast, false albacore, bonito or amberjack, and the only way to fool them is with a small lure that casts where they live.
