The OH2100 is a great tool to swap hooks on any kind of artificial lure, in fact thanks to its eyelet in line with the point of the hook it will perfectly sit on your lure with just one split ring.
We suggest to rig the hook on the belly with the point of the hook facing ahead, while the hook on the rear should be rigged with the point facing up (back). The hook is very strong and the largest sizes can be used with tropcial lures as well. Available in many different sizes to cover most situations.
- # 1 - jerkbait and top water lures between 8 and 9 cm, casting jigs up to 20g
- # 1/0 - jerkbait between 10 and 12 cm, 10cm WTD and casting jigs up to 30g
- # 2/0 - jerkbait between 13 and 15 cm, 11cm WTD and casting jigsup to 40g
- # 3/0 - jerkbait between 16 and 17 cm, 11/12cm WTD, popper / pencil 10/12 cm, casting jigs up to 60g
- # 4/0 - jerkbait between 18 and 20 cm, 12/15cm WTD, 13/14cm popper and casting jigs up to 80g
- # 5/0 - same applications as the 4/0 for wider (fatter) lures
- # 6/0 - same applications as the 5/0 for tropical lures when the strength is very important
- # 7/0 - Popper, jerkbait and tropical stickbait. Jigging as tail hook.
