APIA Uprizing 59 is a curious creature that Kiyoshi Uchida has developed over two years to find the “perfect” vibration for sea bass

In reality, the "perfect vibration" does not exist, but there are many types of vibrations, some more effective than another, always depending on season, environment, water transparency and aggressiveness of predators. The APIA Uprizing 59 represents rather a “standard” of vibration, that is to say neither has been sought the high frequency of these , nor those that could be too strong, very inadvisable in environments with strong fishing pressure, or waters too clear maybe.

The work on the Uprizing 59 of APIA, as we commented at the beginning, has been long and laborious, the team was not able to achieve that type of movement and they had to do so much around length, that it had to be moderate for wary fish without harming the possibility of rigging good hooks capable of handling considerable trophies. Another weak point seemed to be the conformation of the head, if too wide it induced a lot of vibration and forced the lure to swim less naturally, with the head down and the tail raised, if too subtle the result was the opposite. Thus they arrived at the final design, which allows the APIA Uprizing 59 to swim horizontally, and have a very interesting action when we shake it with some feisty jerk.

Another point where the Japanese insisted a lot was the fall, that is, that the lure was effective from the moment it touched the water to be able to surprise more than one sea bass during a neutral action and as authentic as possible. Apparently, the Uprizing 59 of APIA also has that virtue, which is not small since in many occasions the first cast is the one that counts and if the lure, instead of scaring the predators encourages them to strike, we have won the trophy.

If you have red this far, keep reading the little is left because it is very interesting. These types of lures for saltwater fishing, which for convenience we will call lipless crankbaits, are currently the MOST SOLD in Japan for sea bass fishing. I think we will hear about them also in our neck of the woods, and without a doubt the APIA Uprizing 59 is among the most recent and interesting that we can propose. Absolutely recommended.
