The rolling of the ZBL Whisper by Zipbaits is very tight, it wiggles practically on its axis and shoots out very high and continuous vibrations. The Japanese propose a curious solution to be able to use the 127 model in different environments: change the size of the hooks. The originals are #4 and maintain the original configuration which is slow sinking, if we change them for a #5 ZBL Whisper by Zipbaits, in lagoon areas or areas of lower salinity it becomes slow floating just to fish in shallower depths. However, when we fish in more open sea, if we put #3 hooks on it, we get back the balance in slow sinking, while if we leave the original ones, the lure will behave like a slow floating one.
To sum up, the ZBL Whisper by Zipbaits has two sizes, the larger one is for fishing in more open areas, beaches and reefs, making the most of the casting distance it reaches thanks to the weight transfer system and the minimally invasive design of the bib, the smaller one will work in the estuaries, mouths, ports or when smaller baitfish are moving.
